Boyne Falls Vacations from $900

Check in was kind of weird because we had to stop in a little building not connected to the hotel, out front. The bathroom sink is outside the actually toilet and shower room and in the main living/bedroom area, which was strange. We had to get a shower curtain from staff, as there was not one provided. Our screen patio door had a huge slit in the screen and the lock mechanism for the glass door was difficult to use. The tv was comical, as there were all channels we’d never heard of, and a ton of Spanish only channels. The beach and view were very nice. The patio bar and brick oven pizza were both closed down for some reason our entire stay. We ate dinner on our anniversary at the on site restaurant, and it was awful. I got the worst steak of my life and everything was cold, and way overpriced. The continental breakfast was good and it was great having the sunrise view while we ate. The hot tub in our room was a definite plus, although you had to have the light switch on for it to work, which gave you horrible fluorescent lighting right above where you’re trying to take a relaxing bath. Jets were not very strong, but it was large enough for two people, which was great. We never tried the pool or hot tub for guests because it’s located right where people walk back and forth with huge windows looking right in there at you. But as a plus they are open 24/7 for use. Overall the hotel was quiet and staff was friendly and helpful. But I don’t think we’d stay there again.

Great location! Provide ferry shuttles. Good breakfast! Room appeared to be recently updated. Large room, but very small bathroom. Hard to maneuver in the bathroom.

The property was nice, but the breakfast was a joke. Cold cereal or a waffle. We opted to go off property and pay for a good breakfast..
